Mount St. Helens Collection

The collection includes books, newspaper clippings, journal articles, technical reports, ephemera, maps, seismograph records, and government publications. In addition, we have a few non-book items available, such as T-shirts and ash. A detailed inventory covering the bulk of the collection is available in Special Collections. Cataloged portions of the collection can be located through the UW Libraries Catalog. Photograph collections are also available.

An excellent collection of articles chronicling the research going on in the area following the eruption. Articles touch on volcanic, geologic, chemical and plant and animal life research after the 1980 eruption.
