The major projects of Mortar Board include an award of a one hundred and fifty dollar scholarship to a worthy girl each year, presentalion of plaques to the out-standing sophomore and junior girls at the AWS-AMS Scholarship Banquet, and sponsorship of the annual and traditional Tolo dance. Mortar Board members also assist at University functions whenever needed, among them, the President's reception for freshmen, and the Convocation Assembly in the spring.
