   Four first prizes were awarded at the seventeenth annual All-University Song Fest in May. Blaine Hall won the small ensemble division for the second straight year, while Zeta Tau Alpha and Phi Kappa Psi took first in the mixed groups. Alpha Delta Phi copped the Men's division, and Austin Hall received the Women's award.

   Sponsored by Malamutes and the Rally Girls, the Song Fest was held in the Quad. Judging was based on interpretation, tone, technique, and organization.

   Climaxing the evening was the announcement of the pledges to Fir Tree, Senior men's activity honorary; and the announcement of Lee Levy as Mr.Formal of 1952.
