Under construction on the border of the University of Washington campus is the luxurious and much needed men's dormitory. A masterpiece in modern architecture, the new resident hall strikes its impressive pose just west of 15th Avenue and the academic buildings. The building is designed with 575 double-units and it is the hope of everyone concerned that it will be ready to house men students in all fields by the fall of '53. At present the cost of board and room per quarter is estimated at $190. Such modern living facilities as these will be a big step forward in growth and development for the University of Washington. |
