Inter-Hall council's membership consists of representatives from the four Women's Residence halls. The council functions as a coordinating and governing body, promoting cooperation between campus and hall activities. It sponsors programs such as County Fair, the Foreign Students' banquet, Honors banquet, Parents' tea and the Spring formal. The council formulates hall policies in order to gain the best participtaion and enjoyment from group living. IWA is an association for non-affiliated University women. Any woman student who lives in one of the seven organized houses for independent is automatically a member of IWA; any non-affiliated woman student may be a member by becoming an associate member of one of the seven houses. IWA's purpose is to represent unaffiliated women in campus government, tocoordinate the social and service activities of IWA groups, and to orient new women students in campus life. The IWA council is the governing body. |
