Biographical Note

Robert Simeon Adams was born in Richwood, Ohio, in 1897. He received his B.A. degree from Ohio State University and an M.A. from Western Reserve University. After teaching in central Ohio schools, he became headmaster of the Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington, in 1934. He held that position until his death in 1950.

Poems, drafts of poems, notebooks, speeches, correspondence about poems, typescripts of unpublished poems and variants of poems that appeared in "Poems".
