General correspondence (1977-1980); bylaws, membership (ca. 1945-1980); conferences, press releases, subject series, committee records (ca. 1976-1980).
The bulk of the files continue those in the previous accession. One carton documents an urban design project sponsored by the A.I.A. and other Seattle groups. The project, Seattle R/UDAT, (tentative title: A.I.A. Seattle Chapter, Regional Urban Design Assistance Team) brought in an outside design team to study the issue of downtown Seattle as a residential community. It worked with the Seattle Chapter's Steering Committee for this project and with other concerned organizations and produced a report, "Living Downtown", 1981.
