Caldecott Medal Website
The American Library Association's official website for the Caldecott Medal. Contains a listing of all Caldecott winners and honorees. This medal is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

Children's Book Awards
Children's Literature Web Guide's comprehensive list to children's book awards on the internet. This site gives information about International as well as American Children's Literature Awards.

Coretta Scott King Award Website
The American Library Association's cumulative listing of all winners of the Coretta Scott King award. Presented annually to an African American author and an African American illustrator for an outstandingly inspirational and educational contribution published during the previous year.

Evergreen Young Adult Book Award
The Evergreen Young Adult Book Award is sponsored by WASHYARG, Washington Young Adult Review Group. Voters for this award must be in grades 7 - 12. Each must read three or more titles and cast only one vote per ballot.

Golden Kite Award
Award for excellence in the field of children's books presented by the Society of Children's book writers and illustrators.

Internet School Library Media Center Page
This organization maintains a comprehensive list of Children's Book Awards and Other Literary Prizes. Includes major book awards and best books lists in children's literature and young adult literature of interest to librarians and teachers. Awards for nonprint media such as computer software or video for children and young adults are also included.

Kate Greenaway and Carnegie Medals Page
Cumulative listing of all winners of the Kate Greenaway and Carnegie Medals. Given by the Library Association in England, the Greenaway Medal is awarded annually for the most distinguished work in the illustration of children's books published in the United Kingdom. The Carnegie medal also awarded by the Library Association of England, is awarded annually "for an outstanding book for children."

Laura Ingalls Wilder Medal Website
The American Library Association's cumulative listing of all Laura Ingalls Wilder winners. This medal is awarded annual by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author or illustrator whose books, published in the United States, have made a substantial and lasting contribution to literature for children.

Newbery Medal Home Page
The American Library Association's official website for the Newbery Medal. Contains a cumulative listing of all Newbery winners and honorees. The award is given annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.

Printz Medal Website
The American Library Association's official website for the new Printz Medal. This medal was first awarded in the year 2000. The award will be given annually to the book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature.

A Children's Choice Book Award administered by the Washington Library Media Association

Young Reader's Choice Award
The Pacific Northwest Library Association's Children's Literature award website. Chosen by the children and young adults of Alberta, Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, from books published three years previously, and nominated by librarians, teachers, students and others.
