Educational and Psychological Test Collection

The University of Washington's collection of standardized tests, inventories, and the ETS Test Collection of published tests in microfiche format produced by Educational Testing Service includes almost 3500 items. Those tests produced by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) are available on microfiche (ground floor of Suzzallo) and can be viewed without restriction. The UW Libraries does not own the entire ETS collection. The ETS Test Collection does have a searchable database. ETS tests may be retrieved directly from the microfiche file cabinet using the number listed in the indexes or in the test file catalog. ETS Database

The remaining 2500 tests and inventories are located near the Suzzallo Reference desk. Please look over the Access Requirements prior to requesting access to the collection. (Access Requirements). The reference librarian on duty will assist you in accessing the Test Collection. Tests and inventories that the University of Washington Libraries owns are not included in the UW Libraries online catalog, but may be searched through the UW Test Collection Database.

For more information concerning finding testing information please go to the American Psychological Association's Finding Information About Psychological Tests: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) website.

In order to meet purchase requirements of most test publishers all tests are for reference use in the Suzzallo Reference Section only. The following rules/restrictions apply to use of the test collection:
