Nordic and Baltic Genealogy
The UW Libraries do not actively collect in genealogical materials.
The Seattle Genealogical Society (see below) and the Seattle
Public Library are the main sources for information on Scandinavian
genealogy. However, some of our resources contain works of interest to
genealogists. In the case of the Nordic collections, this is particularly
true of Scandinavian Americans, Finnish Americans, and Baltic Americans
within the Pacific Northwest. For those limited resources, please refer
to the following:
-
Reference librarians
-
The Pacific Northwest Collection and the Libraries' Scandinavian archives
in the Manuscripts,
Special Collections, University Archives Division (Allen Library, Basement).
