Congressional Universe - UW Restricted
Provides daily updated information, including full text of bills starting in 1989, public laws starting in 1988, committee reports starting in 1990, House and Senate documents starting in 1995, Congressional Record starting in 1985, Federal Register starting in 1980, National Journal starting in 1977 and other government information.

Country Studies
Studies of 101 countries produced by the Library of Congress provide "a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries throughout the world and examines the interrelationships of those systems and the ways they are shaped by cultural factors."

FedWorld
The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) established FedWorld to serve as the online access point for searching, locating, and acquiring U.S. government and business information. Through this site, you can browse many specialized information databases, search web pages on the FedWorld network, search U.S. government reports, and more.

GPO Access
Through this site, the U.S. Government Printing Office provides free electronic access to the official, published versions of information produced by the Federal Government. The information may be used without restriction, unless specifically noted.

Legal Information Institute
The LII, created and maintained by Cornell Law School, serves as an electronic gateway to constitutions & codes, court opinions, laws by source or jurisdiction, and a "Law about..." section that includes intellectual property, taxation, crimes and criminal procedure, and much more.

Thomas - Legislative Information on the Internet
Under the leadership of the 104th Congress, the Library of Congress developed THOMAS as a means of making Federal legislative information freely available on the Internet. Search THOMAS for Congressional committee information, legislative information, and search the Congressional Record. The Historical Documents section includes early Congressional documents, the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, The U.S. Constitution, and Thomas Jefferson papers.
