These groups have participated in a highly competitive application process and were selected by a panel of their peers for the quality of their programs. Non-profit, and community based, BPA's mission is to educate, entertain and encourage children and adults in the performing arts.

The Bellevue Youth Theatre a joint project between the City of Bellevue and Bellevue Public Schools. The facility is home to the Bellevue Youth Theatre and is dedicated to providing theatre arts opportunities for all young people, ages 5 to 19.

Broadway Bound Children's Theatre creates a transforming experience for children ages 5-18 through participation in a dynamic theatre arts program that combines a fun and supportive atmosphere with professional standards.

Central Stage's mission is to provide a community-based musical and dramatic performing arts organization for the purposes of: presenting quality family entertainment, creating opportunities for children and adults to develop talents in all aspects of theatre arts and providing recognition and support to encourage the youth of Kitsap. County.

Creative Theatre Experience is a non-profit children's theatre that offers fun and exciting workshops in theatre, dance, art and music, all culminating in great stage productions.

CRY of the ROOSTER is a Seattle-based performing arts collective specializing in creative and provocative presentations of folklore from around the world.

This project facilitates an integration of Deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing students through in-school residencies, through the creation and presentation of the Deaf Kids Drama Festivals, through theatre workshops, and through summer stage productions each year.

The purpose of the Drew Harvey Theater is to provide high quality community theater and professional theater arts education to the adults and children of the Nisqually Valley Region

The Enumclaw Arts Commission is a seven member body whose mission is to "...enrich the plateau area by coordinating and supporting literary, visual and performing artists and events, both amateur and professional." The Arts Commission works in cooperation with private and public organizations to sponsor and/or conduct programs to further public awareness of and interest in the arts.

The Evergreen Children's Theatre is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing outstanding education and entertainment in the theater arts primarily focusing on children. The Aurora Valentinetti Puppet Museum is a division of the Evergreen Children's Theatre.

Performs character education puppet adventures and music of primarily a Christian nature.

For over 25 years The Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Company has been offering live musical theatre featuring a mix of professional and community actors. In addition to their seasonal offerings, they also offer an extensive summer theatre program for children between the ages of 4 to 16.

The Hi-Liners summer program is dedicated to providing professional direction to their young cast members to develop their talents with the back drop of quality sets,costumes and a live orchestra to give both the performers and the audience a genuine Broadway musical experience.

Summer Youth Theatre program provides young people with the opportunity to participate in musical theatre both as actors and students of the craft. We are committed to high quality, exciting theatre education guided by professional instructors who epitomize PSMT's fundamental philosophy of respect for all.

Rainier Valley Youth Theatre (RVYT) is a multicultural community-based youth theatre that resides at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center 3515 South Alaska Street – SW corner of Rainier & Alaska, on the edge of Columbia City in the Rainier Valley neighborhood. It's mission is to foster the personal and artistic development of all participants by teaching the total craft of theatre. At present, RVYT remains the only youth theatre serving Southeast Seattle.

Red Eagle Soaring (RES) is a local private non-profit 501(c)(3) all-volunteer Native American theatre group, with an active Youth Theatre Program for at-risk Native teen-agers that meets weekly at the Jefferson Community Center on Beacon Hill.

Seattle Children's Theatre produces new works and classics of children's literature for the stage. Their mission is to provide children of all ages access to professional theatre, with a focus on new works, and theatre education.

Seattle Mime Theatre presents captivating physical theater combining storytelling, literature, mime, improvisation and theater. Since 1977 Seattle Mime Theatre has given performances and educational outreach programs from Seattle to Singapore, from Hong Kong to Hoquiam.

The Theatre's mission is to bring youth of diverse social, economic, ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds together with professional artists to create original musical theatre productions.

The Seattle PlayHouse for Young Performing Artists provides an artistically sound and emotionally safe environment for students to learn the varied crafts of musical theater and experience performance opportunities.

Seattle Shakespeare Company offers a wide range of educational programs. Their mission is to enhance the interest and development of spoken and written language among students through engagement with professional classical theatre.

The Spokane Children's Theatre's mission is to provide suitable and educational theatrical entertainment for children and to promote cultivation of and participation in theatre arts.

Box and Hat Players has served as a springboard for the vocal, dance, and dramatic talents of the city's best young performers, ranging in age from 11 to 18. They perform frequently in productions for Spokane Civic Theatre, Spokane Children's Theatre, Theatre Arts for Children, Valley Repertory Theatre, and Spokane Theatrical Company.

Stone Soup Theatre is committed to giving students the energy, nurturing and discipline necessary to help them become the best they can be both as artists and people. Youth theatre is not only fun and exciting but teaches valuable verbal, motor and relational skills. Stone Soup Theatre is dedicated to providing students a unique opportunity to participate in theatre that is inspirational, energetic and truthful.

Thistle Theatre is a professional puppet theatre for families performing in Bellevue, Burien and Seattle. Daytime school performances are offered in Burien and Seattle at Sand Point Magnuson Park. Theatre Theatre tours to school and communities specializing in the Bunraku-style of puppetry.

The TRIBES PROJECT has been bringing groups of different races of young people together to create plays about RACE since 1997.

Summer Youth Camp

Vashon Allied Arts (VAA) is the oldest community arts center in the state of Washington. Founded in 1966, it provides opportunities for Islanders of all ages to create and experience the arts from every angle.

Young Performer's Institute provides opportunities for a wide variety of skill levels and ages to foster self-esteem, teamwork, and creative expression as well as performance skills. Sessions focus on a wide variety of subjects ranging from masks, puppets, characters, movement, and voice.

The Young Shakespeare Workshop, a non-profit organization, provides a two-tiered tuition-free summer program for young people. Students begin work with sonnets, progressing to speeches and scenes during their first year, to work on an entire play as a returning student.

Youth Theatre Northwest nurtures the intellectual, artistic and personal development of children and youth through drama education, performing opportunities and live theatre experiences. We are a school and a theatre.
