Find Literature Review Articles in Journals
- A literature review article can provide a review of how geographers have discussed an issue, e.g. what methods and theoretical frameworks they have used.

- A description of this journal which regularly features literature review articles, called "Progress Reports".

- Combine "literature review" with keywords describing your topic, e.g. economic restructuring and literature review
- OR
- Open the database and click on the Index tab at the top of the screen
- Under Index to Search select Publication Type
- Select Review from the options listed. >22,000 records will be retrieved
- Click on the Search History tab
- Combine the search results for "Review" with other search terms, e.g. REVIEW and light rail
- Web of Science Citation Databases - Search tips for Literature Review articles
- Select the Citation Databases and dates you wish to search toward the bottom of the screen
- Click on the General Search button
- Scroll to see options for "Restrict search by languages and document types." Select Review from the list of options
- Type search terms into the appropriate boxes, e.g. in the box labeled TOPIC - globalization AND transnational corporations; growth management
