Magazines

The UW Libraries has backfiles of some major American popular magazines such as Time and Reader's Digest and selective coverage for other countries. Most of the following databases are indexes that can be used to identify magazine articles, are fulltext. Once you identify articles you need search the UW Libraries Catalog for the journal name to see if and where the journal is kept (library location and call number).

  More Info UW Restricted PAIS - index to public policy related articles from 1915 onward
  More Info UW Restricted Reader's Guide Retrospective - index to American magazines 1890-1980
  More Info Science in the 19th Century Periodical - index to articles published in 16 British magazines during the 19th century
  More Info Time Archive - transcriptions to Time magazine articles from 1923 on
