What does a Communication Studies Librarian do?
I support the research and teaching needs of the Department of Communication. This includes buying materials (books, videos, dvds, and more), helping students and faculty with their research, and teaching research methods.
What does a newspaper librarian do?
I manage the University Libraries Microfilming Project. We preserve approximately 100 Pacific Northwest, national, and international current newspapers on microfilm each year. I provide reference, instruction, and technical support in Microforms & Newspapers.
