Janet's main responsibility is cataloging materials in Arabic, Persian, Turkish (modern and Ottoman), and Hebrew, and in other subject areas. She has selection responsibility for materials in Hebrew and western languages supporting instruction and research in the area of Jewish Studies, an interdisciplinary program housed in the Jackson School of International Studies. Jewish history, Bible, rabbinic literature, and Hebrew language and literature are the subjects involved.
