UW Libraries East Asia Library Endowment

The purpose of the Endowment is for the support and enhancement of the East Asia Library.

This fund supports study, instruction and research on East Asian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Tibetan Studies.

The endowment was established, and is continually enhanced, by the generosity of many donors.

About endowments
An endowment is a permanent fund of support for which the principal of the gift is invested and grows over time. The endowment makes distributions on a quarterly basis to support the purpose specified. The endowed fund can be named to honor a special person or specific area of need for the Libraries.
