The purpose of the Endowment is to support acquisition and other expenses in support of the Pacific Northwest Collection.

Meade Emory is a Professor of Law and Director of the Graduate Program in Taxation at the UW School of Law. Deborah is involved with the music program at the UW and is currently pursuing a PhD in Music History.

About endowments
An endowment is a permanent fund of support for which the principal of the gift is invested and grows over time. The endowment makes distributions on a quarterly basis to support the purpose specified. The endowed fund can be named to honor a special person or specific area of need for the Libraries.
