Friends of the Labor Archives Fund

striking teachersThe purpose of the fund is for the operations of the Labor Archives of Washington.

Established in 2014, the Friends of the Labor Archives Fund is dedicated to advancing the preservation and promotion of labor history through financial support and community outreach for the Labor Archives at the University of Washington. Gifts to the fund provide support for operations, including:

  • Salary and benefits of dedicated labor archives staff
  • Collection processing costs
  • Education and outreach related to the Labor Archives

The Labor Archives is a collaborative project of the University of Washington Libraries and the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies. Over 300 separate collections of labor and labor-related materials are housed in Special Collections.
