Anne Gould Hauberg Endowed Library Fund

The purpose of the Endowment is to underwrite the annual Artist Images Series and the publication of a bookmark featuring the artist's work.

This series was begun in 1989 by the University Libraries.

Anne Gould Hauberg has many ties to the University and its libraries. She is the daughter of Carl F. Gould, who was the primary architect for the UW and designed many campus buildings including Suzzallo Library and its extraordinary Reading Room. Ms. Hauberg has been a generous contributor of both cash and in-kind gifts to the University Libraries and has fostered the tradition of supporting architecture, art and learning both on the University campus and in the community.

About endowments
An endowment is a permanent fund of support for which the principal of the gift is invested and grows over time. The endowment makes distributions on a quarterly basis to support the purpose specified. The endowed fund can be named to honor a special person or specific area of need for the Libraries.

Endowments are forever
With the creation of an endowment, you have the chance to build a strong foundation for the University Libraries, now and in the future. Endowment gifts are extremely valuable in enhancing the quality of the University Libraries, since they provide a constant resource regardless of state funding.
