Purpose of the Endowment

To promote and preserve the Norwegian language in the United States. Income from this fund helps purchase Norwegian books for students, particularly the fine and rare books that could not be purchased otherwise.

This gift was received from the estate of John P. Larsen. This endowment is created from his bequest.
