Helen Johns Library Endowment Fund

The purpose of the Endowment is for funding for staff development, including but not limited to, training, conferences, workshops and associated costs.

This gift was received from the estate of Helen Johns, who was the Head of the University Libraries Circulation Division for 28 years. She loved her work and the Libraries and this endowment was created from her bequest.

About endowments
An endowment is a permanent fund of support for which the principal of the gift is invested and grows over time. The endowment makes distributions on a quarterly basis to support the purpose specified. The endowed fund can be named to honor a special person or specific area of need for the Libraries.
