Cameron and Lenore Neumann Library Endowment

The purpose of the Endowment is to acquire books, photographs and other materials about the Eastside, particularly Bellevue.

Cameron and Lenore Neumann moved to Bellevue in 1936, when it was a rural town. The landscape has changed dramatically since then, and the Neumann's sons, Marc and Gary, wanted to preserve a record of their hometown. This endowment is unique in that it was set up to acquire historical materials. The Neumann's hope that the endowment will reinvigorate interest in local history and the collection of historical materials.

About endowments
An endowment is a permanent fund of support for which the principal of the gift is invested and grows over time. The endowment makes distributions on a quarterly basis to support the purpose specified. The endowed fund can be named to honor a special person or specific area of need for the Libraries.

Endowments are forever
