Purpose of the Endowment To provide support for the University of Washington Libraries. This endowment will augment the libraries collections of books, periodicals, media materials, and programs designed to enhance the educational experience of the University's approximately 30,000 undergraduate students. This endowment was set up by the Annual Giving Council through funds from the Parents Giving Program. It is the University's intent that distributions from the endowment be used at the discretion of the Dean of the UW Libraries, or his or her designee, to benefit the UW Libraries.
