Rosemary T. VanArsdel Endowed Library Fund
The purpose of the Endowment is for collections relating to the Victorian and Edwardian period including books, periodicals, sets of collected works, facsimiles of manuscripts, electronic and all other information formats.

Rosemary T. VanArsdel ('47) was an Acting Instructor in English at the UW in 1961 and joined the English faculty at the University of Puget Sound (UPS) in 1965. She was a founding member of the Research Society for Victorian Periodicals and has served on the board of the Friends of the UW Libraries. She is currently Distinguished Professor of English, Emerita, UPS.

About endowments
An endowment is a permanent fund of support for which the principal of the gift is invested and grows over time. The endowment makes distributions on a quarterly basis to support the purpose specified. The endowed fund can be named to honor a special person or specific area of need for the Libraries.
