Fellowships

Joseph and Jill McKinstry Libraries Endowed Fellowship
UW Libraries offers a unique fellowship to MLIS students at the iSchool that combines a scholarship with a paid work experience in the University Libraries system. The successful fellow receives a scholarship and an assignment in a University Libraries unit(s) based on the recipient's interests.

Internships

Internships allow selected candidates to further their education in a hands on setting. When offered, internships may be open nationally, or restricted to select educational programs. Classified and Professional Staff Positions

Public Services Technician
This position provides public and collection maintenance services within Branch Operations Services on the Seattle campus. Closes October 5, 2021
Collection Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for collection maintenance functions for Suzzallo/Allen and Government Publications collections including identifying materials for repair and preparing items for binding. Provides circulation services at the public services desk and receiving room. Evening and Weekend Technician (1.0 FTE)
This position will process library materials; assist users at service desks; and, in the absence of supervisors, direct student assistants in maintaining the operations of the Odegaard Undergraduate Library. Closes September 3, 2021. NOTE: This is 1 of 2 technician positions currently available at Odegaard - job duties are identical, but schedule of hours is different.
