Rate:

$16.54 per hour.

Hours:

6-9 p.m., 3 hour shifts. Schedule to be determined

Duties:

  • Create, maintain and update selected internal and external Web pages for the NNLM PNR, and ensure that content meets the requirements in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
  • Input data from Word documents into the Data Reporting System
  • Data entry in Awards Tracking Sheet (excel)
  • Plan for and prepare shipments of hardware and other materials for exhibits and classes.
  • Log and fulfill orders for book kits.
  • Inventory NNLM educational materials
  • Spot check captions for accuracy and report errors to captioning service

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience with website editing
    • Awareness of digital accessibility
    • Organization skills, attention to detail, and proofreading skills Proactive approach to getting things done

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Current student in the MLIS program
    • Experience with Drupal editing
    • Experience with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973

    Other Details:

    Prefer a commitment for 1-year; with flexibility for extended time off in the summer as needed
