Mon-Thurs, 5:00 a.m.-3:00 a.m.; Fri, 5:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.; Sat, 9:45 a.m.-8:15 p.m.; Sun, 9:45 a.m.-3:00 a.m.


  • Staff the Entry and Information desks
  • Perform basic circulation processing tasks
  • Shelve and shift materials
  • Inventory the collection; search for missing volumes; and retrieve library materials
  • Maintain routine statistical records
  • Receive, unpack, sort and deliver mail, gifts and other items
  • Assist in routine marking and processing of library materials
  • May assist in opening and closing procedures of library
  • Assists with ID checks and security walkthroughs
  • Other duties as required


Required Qualifications:


      Able to give work availability for one or more of the following: Saturday and Sunday, or at least 2 days of the week (Sunday-Thursday) for 10:00 pm to 3:00 am, or at least 2 days of the week (Monday-Friday) for 5:00 am to 8:00/9:00 am

      Excellent attendance

      Customer service experience

      Detail oriented

      Able to work independently with minimum supervision

      Able to communicate and explain complex procedures clearly, both in person and over the phone

      Must be able to begin working Tuesday, September 19, 2019


        Desired Qualifications:

        • Previous library experience

        • Required to work during finals week and on holidays Odegaard is open
        • Must be available to work two consecutive quarters
        • Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week but not more than 19.5 hours per week for all campus jobs
