8-12 hours per week

Hours to fill include Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.


  • Routine circulation and public service tasks:
    • Staff front desk
    • Assist patrons
    • Retrieve and sort materials
    • Book stacks maintenance
    • Shift and shelve materials
  • Additional duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
    • Strong public service skills.
    • Able to explain complex library procedures and policies in person and over the phone.
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Language fluency in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
    • Library work experience.
