Hours:

  • 10-12
  • Adjustable hourly schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • No weekends or evenings.

Duties:

  • Unpacks, organizes, sorts, documents, processes, and makes appropriate disposition for non-cash gifts.
  • Performs bibliographic and holdings searches in online systems.
  • Works with books, serials, media, ephemera, and other materials in a wide range of languages.
  • Proofreads correspondence and other documents in English.
  • Updates content in a web environment.
  • Filing and file management.
  • General office support.

    Required Qualifications:

      • Ability to lift boxes of materials weighing up to 40 pounds, push loaded booktrucks, and reset shelving.
      • Ability to accurately proofread correspondence and documents in English.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and have good communication skills.

        Desired Qualifications:

        • Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
        • Ability to read cursive handwriting.
        • Interest in library collection development.
        • Experience working with a content management system.
        Other Job Details:
        • Work may aggravate dust and mold allergies.
