10-19 hours per week

Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm as arranged.


    • Acts as receptionist for the Office of The Vice Provost and Dean of Libraries. Answers general information queries in person and over the phone. Transfers calls and connects visitors to staff as appropriate.
    • Assists with office and clerical duties for Libraries Human Resources and other Libraries Administration staff, including data entry, report creation, filing, and photo copying.
    • Maintains public bulletin boards
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

      • Willing to work at least three academic quarters
      • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Able and willing to explain sometimes complex procedures both in person and over the phone

        Desired Qualifications:

          • Good interpersonal and problem solving skills are important, plus an aptitude for detailed work
          • Previous work experience helpful: library, office, retail, service position, etc.
          • Experience working with sensitive or confidential information, such as human resources or medical.
