10-15 hours per week; primarily evenings and weekends


  • Performs daily stacks maintenance duties such as shelving and retrieving materials for library users
  • Performs routing maintenance of public printers
  • Assists in maintaining the library facilities
  • Assists in maintaining the safety and security of library users, including clearing the library at closing
  • Refers problems to appropriate library staff
  • Other duties as assigned

    Required   Qualifications:

    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Reliable attendance
    • Good customer service skills
    • Ability to lift, carry and handle up to 36 pounds of library materials on a regular basis
    • Ability to push cars containing library materials using up to 40 pounds of force
