6-10 hours per week


  • Checks in and out library materials
  • Assists library users by answering directional and informational questions in person and by phone
  • Uses the library catalog to perform bibliographic searching
  • Pulls, processes and shelves incoming and outgoing library materials
  • Assists in opening and closing procedures of the library
  • Works both independently and as a valued team member
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Reliable
  • Detail-orented
  • Public service skills
  • Ability to work some evening and Sunday afternoon shifts after training

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous public service or library experience
