5 hours per week; schedule is flexible


    Assists with the upkeep on the Vietnam Studies Group email discussion list and web site (hosted at UW on behalf of the Vietnam Studies Group of the Association for Asian Studies). Specific duties include:


    • Add new members to the discussion list, in response to requests.
    • Track online discussions and decides, in collaboration with the SE Asian Studies Section Head, which are important enough to be archived.
    • Format discussions and link to the VSG web page.
    • Update other web pages on the VSG site, as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.


        Required Qualifications:

        • Typing proficiency and accuracy
        • Knowledge of web applications
        • Interest in and knowledge about Viet Nam
        Desired Qualifications:
        • Vietnamese language proficiency
        • Interest in information organization
