10 hours per week; hours between 9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday


  • Transliterate titles and serial issue numbers
  • Input bibliographic and order records for titles received in various Southeast Asian and Western languages
  • Enter data/maintain bibliographic information for a large collection of Vietnamese, French and English language materials
  • Evaluate, sort and process these materials according to a variety of elements

    Required Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Vietnamese language
    • Good communications skills in English
    • Highly accurate typing skills; minimum speed 40 wpm
    • Should be highly detail oriented
    • Must be willing to learn computer procedures and the Library of Congress transliteration schedules
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with French language
    • Willingness to take on other duties as necessary
