Libraries Building and Unit Updates

Summer 2010

The UW Libraries seeks to provide facilities that are responsive to a variety of student and faculty needs.  Libraries are being reframed as more flexible spaces for collaborative work, individual study, teaching and learning, and integrated  research. We hope that any inconvenience resulting from the facilities work over the summer will be offset by the new and  improved space in the fall.

As Libraries units consolidate, move, re-organize and relocate materials, the location of some materials may change on a daily and hourly basis.

So if you can’t find the materials you're looking for in a specific location, please ask at an information desk for up to date location. You may also reserve materials online and have them sent to a specific library for pick up. This typically will take 24-48 hours. Please note that if some materials have been moved to closed stacks, you will have to request the items.
