Contemporary photographs by Li Mingyang depict the culture and spirituality of nomadic herders in the Dzachuka region of east Tibet. Mingyang’s work supports the efforts of the Kilung Foundation, bringing humanitarian aid to Dzachuka while answering the call for Buddhist teachings in the West. The exhibit includes images from the Kilung Foundation’s Pema Kilaya, the sangha (Buddhist community) of western students of H.E. Kilung Jigme Rinpoche, established in 1998 on Whidbey Island.
