Media Arcade is open to current UW students, staff and faculty only - Husky ID Card is required to enter. Priority use given to UW students. Use of Arcade is first come, first served. Computer stations delete files on logout, so make sure to save your data to your own drive when you are done.

In the Media Arcade

  • iMac computers x 6 | The Arcade's iMacs are the fastest computers in Suzzallo-Allen Library. They are designed for audio and video editing and creation (FinalCut Pro, Logic Pro, Ableton, Audacity, Handbrake, Reason, ProTools, Piezo, Sibelius and more), but can also be used for general research and study.
  • 70" plasma TVs x 3 | These large screen TVs are capable of supporting up to 8 viewers, with HuskyTV and playback equipment for DVDs (all regions), Blu-ray discs (all regions), and VHS (NTSC/HPAL/SECAM)
  • Audio digitization and reformatting | Compact and micro cassettes, LP records (vinyl), more formats supported upon request.
  • Video digitization and reformatting | VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, DV, Umatic, more formats supported upon request.
  • Video game consoles
  • Music Creation | USB piano keyboard, DJ controller, Ableton Push.
  • Cell phone and laptop chargers | Apple 60W Power Adapter (L-Shaped), Apple 45W Power Adapter / MD592LL/A, Micro USB (Non Apple Devices), Apple Lightning (iPhone 5 & Newer), USB Type-C, Apple 30 Pin (iPhone 4 & Older), Standard Female USB outlet.
