Departmental Delivery

Available Delivery to campus mailboxes now available.

What is it?

The UW Libraries will pull material from our shelves, check it out to you and send it to your department via campus mail. Material borrowed through Summit or Interlibrary Loan can also be sent to your department.

Who can use it?

Current UW faculty and staff at the Bothell, Seattle, and Tacoma campuses and other locations with UW campus box numbers.

Materials requested through Interlibrary Loan

You will receive an email when your item is loaned. Contact Central Circulation Services at suzzcirc@uw.edu if you do not receive it within 7 days. UW Libraries is not responsible for material once it arrives at your campus box number drop location or if you do not contact us within 7 days of the material being mailed.

Get Started!

  • Search and request in UW Libraries Search
  • Select Work Address as your pickup location
  • You will receive an email when the item is loaned and mailed to you

  • Items must be sent to a valid campus box number
    Check your campus box number in Your Library Account. Change your address through Workday; it may take a week or so for Your Library Account to be updated. Please be mindful of your department's capacity to process and secure material that you request.

 

Returning Material

  • Drop off at any UW library
  • Or return via campus mail
  • Central Circulation Services

    Material sent via mail will be checked in when it is received by the libraries and is the responsibility of the borrower until that time. Please allow at least 2 days for mailing time.
