  • If you have a Husky Card, it serves as your library card.
  • If you are not eligible for a Husky Card, contact Library Account Services to obtain a library card

    • Use your UW NetID to log in
    • You should regularly check your online account, as you are responsible for all items checked out to it and fines will accrue on overdue items.
    • Most UW-owned materials can be renewed indefinitely unless/until they are requested by someone else or the account expires

    Additional Free Services:

    • Summit Borrowing
      The Orbis Cascade Alliance provides access to millions of titles from all over the Northwest.  This option appears in the UW catalog when searching for items.
    • Interlibrary Loan
      Current staff are eligible to obtain books and articles that the UW does not own.
    • Document Delivery
      The UW Libraries will scan articles from print journals in our collection and delivery them to you electronically
    • Borrowing Privileges at Orbis Cascade Institutions (Summit Visiting Patron Program)
      You are eligible for borrowing privileges at all other institutions in the Orbis Cascade Alliance. Expect to present your Husky Card and log in to your UW Libraries Account in person at the partner institution to obtain privileges.
